Coach D. Bhagyarajan — NIS Kolkata Diploma in Boxing, Indian Army Subedar for 21 years, 19 Gold + 9 Silver + 4 Bronze across 16 National + 17 International championships. Teaches everyone — software engineers, mothers, students, athletes — with the same patient methodical approach.

Common questions.

Is your boxing class for women only?+

No — our boxing programme is mixed, but the technical depth is identical for every member. Plenty of women train here. Separate changing area. We have a dedicated women's combat sports programme at /womens if you prefer.

Do I need to be fit before I start?+

No. The trial class is open to complete beginners and conditioning is built through training. Most members report feeling stronger and more confident within the first month.

Will I have to spar?+

Only when you are ready and only if you opt in. Beginners do mitts, pads, and shadow boxing — never live sparring. Sparring is part of the Intermediate track when you have built clean mechanics first.

What should I wear and bring?+

Workout clothes, water, a towel. We have gloves and pads to lend for your trial class. After that you will want your own 12oz or 14oz boxing gloves and hand wraps.
